While we've still got a ways to go till Halloween (as of the writing of this blog), that hasn't stopped Lemax from getting ready for the 2025 Halloween and Christmas scene. Already revealed are the Halloween and Christmas village pieces that Lemax plans on rolling out this holiday season.
In this blog I'm going to go over not every village piece, but the ones that I feel look the most interesting.
Cursed Ruins
I got a feeling this is gonna be a shelf jumper. The Cursed Ruins village piece looks amazing. The eyes on the castle skull light up a bright spooky red, the castle on top looks nice, and the candles on the side give it a hint of a cute touch.
Fog comes out of the skulls nose/mouth area as well. I'm not sure what the process is to replacing/getting more fog into the village piece though, but I would hope it isn't too complicated.
Wedding party
The monster mash still lives on in this piece, as the skeletons on the dance floor spin and move around while the band plays.
The Laff Shak
I can't help but have a soft spot for the made up stores Lemax makes for their Halloween villages. They have a certain charm and humor to them, and The Laff Shak is no exception. While just a light up building (no sounds or movement), I do like the amount of detail that went into the piece.
There's at least 3 clowns on the piece (2 in plane sight, one a bit more hidden), and the clown car looks cool. The sign on the front also promises free treats (no tricks). You guys got any Hershey bars in that bowel?
Nightmares video
Anther fun store one. While this is anther piece that doesn't have any sounds or movement, it's got a decent amount of lights and a ton of detail. Sadly, like many rental video stores, Nightmares is closing down, not without one final sale thought.
$1 for VHS and $2 DVD is a straight up steal. To any VHS/DVD collectors out there, you might want to head to Nightmares ASAP.
Creepy Pumpkin Patch
Greeting those who dare enter with a scary Jack-O-Lantern face, the Creepy Pumpkin Patch promises thrills and scares to all those who enter. It also promises some pretty good apple cider, which you'll probably need to help your throat to recover from all the screaming you'll do.
For being a battery operated piece this looks extremely nice.
Cursed Campfire
I'm a fan of both campfire's, and I'm glad to see the Headless Horseman, Grim Ripper, and skeleton night are as well. Mind if I join fellas? I brought hot dogs and those Marshmallows that have chocolate inside of them?
Nothing like a hot bath
This is one of those pieces that I find comedic and cute. Need to relax after a long night of scaring people and collecting candy? Esmeralda's Spa is just the place for you!
The Full Moon Lagoon
Right off the bat, I'm a big fan of table top fountains. Their nice, quiet, and perfect to listen to if you want to relax/meditate. The Full Moon Lagoon can be both a table top fountain, and a spooky Halloween piece for your village.
The piece does have running water, with water coming out of the skeleton head. Alongside running water, the piece has lights to it, and a nice amount of detail. Kind of hope Lemax makes these types of water pieces more of a common thing ever year or so...
